湘南自然薯栽培その３

外国のお客様を二宮の隠れ家：風合い工房にご案内しました。
ショールとハンカチを藍染して貰いました。繭になる前の蚕の様子を見学してもらい、保存済の繭から糸繰りも体験して貰いました。最後にMさん自身の設計の機織り機（レラ・オ・レラ--アイヌ語で風と共に）の実演を見せて貰いました。
雨のため、田植え（古代米）は中止になりました。雨のため屋内の体験になりましたが皆さんに楽しんでいただきました

暖かくなり自然薯の蔓葉が伸びてきました。長い蔓はネット上部まで伸びてきました。また昨日の雨で地上から芽を出した薯も多くなりました。昨年より成長が早いと思われます。
Recent warmer weather has made vines of the Japanese yam grew. The long vines have extended to the top of the net. In addition, many seedling yams sprouted from the ground due to the rain yesterday. they seem to grow faster than last year.

暖かくなりやっとモロヘイヤの成長が加速するようになりました。今年は半月早く７月初めには収穫と出荷が出来そうです。

昨年より３日遅く浜田牧場さんの田植えが始まりました。4条式の田植え機で１反の田圃の田植えが約45分で終了します。３反（3,000�u）の田圃の田植えが無事に終了しました。私の手伝いは苗の採取と苗の補充です。比較的楽なお手伝いです。

自然薯の定植完了後、約1週間かけて追肥、補助支柱立て、ネット張りそして畝間の防草シートの布設がやっと終了しました。第四圃場と第一圃場の計約2,000本の自然薯圃場です。　一段落です。
