湘南自然薯栽培その３

所属する秦野英会話クラブの課外レクチャーの講演に参加しました。インドネシアのAlisthaさんがインドネシアの文化や地理そして歴史などを紹介してくれました。プレゼンはパワポではなくCanvaというプレゼンツール（アプリ）を使ったことにも驚きでした。
I attended an extracurricular lecture organized by the Hadano English Conversation Club, of which I am a member. Alistha, from Indonesia, gave a presentation introducing her country's culture, geography, and history. I was also surprised to see that she used Canva—a presentation tool—instead of PowerPoint.

今年は小ぶりでしたがやっと玉葱の収穫が終了しました。次回のEFCで仲間の皆さんと分け合います。
The onions were on the small side this year, but I’ve finally finished harvesting them. I’ll share them with everyone in the group at the next EFC meeting.
 

五月中旬に植えた小豆とささげの芽が出て成長してきました。初めての定植です。
The adzuki beans and cowpeas I planted in mid-May have sprouted and are growing well. This is my first time transplanting them.
 

今年は昨年より１週間ほど遅く、浜田牧場さんの田植えが始まりました。眞田地区の２反の田圃に平塚産のはるみの田植えをしました。後日残りの３反の田植えも予定されています。
This year, rice planting at Hamada Farm started about a week later than last year. We planted Harumi rice from Hiratsuka in two-tan rice fields in the Sanada area. The remaining three-tan rice fields are scheduled to be planted at a later date.
 

秋のFarm-visit用のサツマイモの定植をしました。第四圃場脇の３畦に計２００本の苗を植えました。先に植えた第三圃場の畦のサツマイモはすっかり活着しています。
We planted sweet potato seedlings for our autumn farm visits, setting out a total of 200 plants across three rows beside the fourth field. The sweet potatoes planted earlier in the rows of the third field have fully taken root.
