湘南自然薯栽培その３

第三圃場と第四圃場の斜面の草刈を実施しました。今回はビニール紐付き草刈り機で草刈を行いました。切り取った草の破片が作業服に絡みつきます。しかし、刈り取った斜面は刃付き草刈り機よりもきれいに見えます。
Mowed the slopes of the 3rd and 4th fields. This time, I mowed with a mower with a vinyl string. The cut grass fragments get entangled in the work clothes. However, the cut slopes looled  more clean than the slope mowed by the mower with blade.

昨日と本日の朝、サツマイモの苗をそれぞれ250本、１５０本ほど定植しました。今日以降に雨が続くために活着するすると思います。第四圃場脇の畑のサツマイモは秋に留学生たちの芋掘り体験に招待する予定です。
Yesterday and this morning, planted 250 and 150 sweet potato seedlings, respectively. It will take root because it will continue to rain after today. Sweet potatoes in the field beside the 4th farm will be used for invitation for the potato digging experience of international students in the fall.

近くのNさんからサツマイモの苗を頂きました。そのため少し早いですがｼﾞｬｶﾞｲﾓを収穫しました。男爵、メイクイーン、とうや、紅あかり、きたあかりです。
Received sweet potato seedlings from Mr. N nearby. Therefore, although it was a little early, Harvested potatoes.The types are Dansyaku, May Queen, Toya, Beni Akari, and Kita Akari.
 

モロヘイヤがやっと50cmほどの高さに成長しました。７月からの収穫が楽しめそうです。
Moroheiya has finally grown to a height of about 50 cm. Can enjoy the harvest from July.

6月７日に田植えを完了した浜田牧場さんから余った早苗を頂きました。ネットのバケツ栽培からヒントを得てプランターでの水耕栽培を始めてみました。発泡スチロールの箱でも試してみます。
Received the surplus seedlings from Mr. Hamada deiry-farm, who completed rice planting on June 7. Taking inspiration from net bucket cultivation, Started hydroponics of rice in a planter. Also tried it in a Styrofoam box.
