湘南自然薯栽培その３

第一圃場の自然薯の蔓葉の紅葉です。そろそろ収穫できそうです。
It is the autumn leaves of the vine leaves of the wild yam of the first field. It looks like it's going to be harvested soon.

例年以上に晴天が続いたため、すっかり乾燥した稲藁をMax2000と言う梱包機を使って四角形の飼料にパッキングしてから軽トラに運んで、牧場の納屋に保管しました。
Since the weather was finer than usual, Hamada-san used the Max2000 packing machine to pack the completely dried rice straw into square fodder, transported it to a light truck, and stored it in a barn of the dairy farm.

第四圃場脇に植えた秋ジャガが予想以上に成長していました。また、今年初めての自然薯の試し掘りを実施しました。予想以上に大きい薯が掘れました。今年も収穫は順調のようです。
Autumn potatoes planted on the side of the fourth field grew more than expected. Carried out trial digging of Japanese yam for the first time this year. duged up a larger yam than  expected. Harvest looks good again this year.

思い立って、近くのふきのとうの根２０本を第三圃場の脇に移植しました。活着してくれることを期待します。
On a whim, I transplanted 20 nearby Fukinoto roots to the side of the third field. I hope it will survive.

第三圃場に玉葱の極早生苗を２００本定植しました。この玉葱は早ければ３月末には収穫できる予定です。この畑は来年五月からモロヘイヤを植えるためその前に収穫できる玉葱を植えることにしました。
200 very early seedlings of onion were planted in the third field. The onions are expected to be harvested by the end of March at the earliest. In this field, decided to plant onions that can be harvested before May because I will plant Moroheiya next May.
