湘南自然薯栽培その３

EFCの皆さんの助けを借りて赤玉250本そして白玉200本の玉葱（中世）の定植を完了しました。２日後の日曜日は雨との事、無事活着すると期待します。
With the help of everyone at EFC, have completed planting 250 red and 200 white onions (medieval). Two days later, on Sunday, it will be raining, so I expect it to take root safely.

第一圃場の自然薯の蔓葉の剥がしが完了しました。先に第四圃場そして第二圃場の約2,000本の自然薯の蔓葉の剥がしを完了しています。
The vine leaves of the Japanese yams in the first field have been peeled off. First, have completed removing the vine leaves from about 2,000 Japanese yams in the 4th and 2nd fields.

後の自然薯の収穫を容易にするために蔓葉をネットごと取り外しました。が、地面の薯の蔓はそのままにしています。少しでも成熟を止めないためです。
Removed the vine leaves together with the net to facilitate later harvesting of Japanese yam. But Leave the yam vines on the ground untouched. Because it doesn't stop maturing even a little.

EFCで集まってくれた方々の助けを借りてマルチを２畦敷設しました。これは玉葱苗（中世）の赤玉と白玉を後日定植するためです。
Two ridges of mulch were laid with the help of the people who gathered at EFC. This is to plant red and white onion seedlings (medieval) at a later date.

掘り上げてしまった第四圃場の畦は溝が残っています。そこで、掘り起こしたばかりの畦シートに川砂を入れながら再度敷設しました。そして防草シートを被せてからさらにブルーシートを敷設しました。来年の畦の耕作、溝堀りそして畦シートの布設などの一連の作業を今年中に行ってみました。あくまでひとつの実験です。
The ridges of the fourth field that have been dug up still have grooves. Therefore,  laid it again while filling the newly dug ridge sheet with river sand. And after covering the anti-grass sheet, laid more blue sheets. Tried to do a series of work such as next year's ridge cultivation, ditch digging and laying ridge sheets this year. It's just an experiment.
