湘南自然薯栽培その３

熊本からきている息子と孫を箱根の宮城野保養所に案内しました。あいにく数年に一度の大雪が降り、急遽、市内でタイヤチェーンを買い求め、午後早めに出発しましたが、猛烈な渋滞に巻き込まれ5時間以上もかけてやっと宿に辿り着くことができました。おかげで美しい雪の風景を楽しむことができました。
Took my son and grandson, who came from Kumamoto, to Miyagino Retreat Home in Hakone. Unfortunately, there was a heavy snowfall that only happens once every several years, so quickly bought tire chains in the city and left early in the afternoon. However, got caught in a terrible traffic jam and it took us more than five hours to finally reach the inn. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy the beautiful snowy scenery.

恒例の秦野英会話クラブの春の感謝祭が、新装なった文化会館の展示室を使って行われました。約60名の会員の他にNativeゲストと特別参加の約10名が参加してゲームや英語劇などを楽しみました。特に英語劇団：おから座により『竹取物語』は秀逸です。下記からご覧いただけます。

he annual Hadano English Conversation Club Spring Thanksgiving Festival was held in the newly renovated exhibition room of the Cultural Center. Approximately 60 members, native speakers, and about 10 special guests participated and enjoyed games and English plays. The performance of "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" by the English theatre troupe Okara-za was particularly excellent. You can watch it below.

先週急逝されたご主人を持つ英会話仲間のORさんを励ますためにOEさんとOYを誘って大井町のビオトピアの梅を観に行きました。広々とした庭園からは富士山が良く見えました。ドングランが併設された館内のカフェでランチを摂りながら相続の手続き他のアドバイスをOEさんから頂きました。
To encourage my English conversation friend OR-san, whose husband passed away suddenly last week, invited OE -san and OY-san to go see the plum blossoms at Biotopia in Oimachi. From the spacious garden, we had a great view of Mt. Fuji. Over lunch at the cafe inside the building attached to Dongran, OE-san gave OR-san advice on inheritance procedures and other matters.

長男が都内からリモートワークでこの1週間我が家に滞在してくれました。土曜日に彼と一緒に吾妻山の菜の花を見物してから午後に市内のシネプレックスで映画『国宝』を鑑賞しました。五代目：玉三郎がモデルだそうです。歌舞伎役者の内面の描写が素晴らしく感動しました。が、ストーリーには疑問が多く、後日、友達から原作の小説を借りて読み終えてその疑問は解決しました。この映画は原作を読んでから観る映画の一つだと思いました。
My eldest son has been staying with me for the past week while working remotely from Tokyo. On Saturday, we went to see the rape blossoms on Mount Azuma together, and then in the afternoon we went to a cineplex in the city to watch the film "National Treasure." Apparently, it's based on Tamasaburo V. I was deeply moved by the wonderful portrayal of the inner workings of a kabuki actor. However, I had many questions about the story, and later, after borrowing the original novel from a friend and reading it, my questions were solved. This is one of those movies that you should watch after reading the original novel.
 

次週の金曜日に予定されてるKSGGのイベントである吾妻山菜の花ウオッチングに備えて数名のスタッフと下見に出かけました。菜の花はほぼ満開で、富士山もきれいでした。水仙もほぼ満開です。
In preparation for next Friday's KSGG event, Azuma Mountain Mustard Flower Watching, I went out with a few staff members to check out the area. The mustard flowers were almost in full bloom, and Mount Fuji was beautiful. The daffodils were also almost in full bloom.
