Carried out the last weeding of the year in the Japanese yam field. Due to the extreme heat, the field will become overgrown with weeds in less than two weeks. |

| 9/21落語『千両みかん』と極早生みかんの食味/Rakugo "Senryo Mikan" and the taste of early-ripening mandarins | | 落語塾で落語『千両みかん』を師匠から噺を拝聴した後で、急にみかんを食べたくなりJAファームで売っていた極早生みかんを買って食べました。１房：100両と言いながら大事に食べました。美味しかったです。
After listening to the rakugo story "Senryo Mikan" performed by my teacher at a rakugo school, I suddenly had a craving for mikan, so I bought some early-season mikan that were on sale at JA Farm and ate them. I ate them carefully, knowing that one bunch was worth 100 ryo. They were delicious. |

2025/10/01 18:05:25｜ その他栽培 | 9/19玉葱の種まき/Sowing onion seeds | | | EFCの仲間と玉葱の種を植えました。赤と白、そして早生と晩生の４種類の種を蒔きました。初めての試みです。うまく育苗できればと思います。
Planted onion seeds with my EFC friends. We planted four varieties: red, white, early, and late. This is my first attempt. Hope the seedlings will thrive. |

2025/10/01 17:58:11｜ その他栽培 | 9/16田圃の畔の草刈り/Mowing the grass on the edge of rice fields | | | | 浜田牧場さんの田圃３反の畔の草刈りを実施しました。猛暑で草ぼうぼうでした。１０月初めには稲刈りの予定だそうです。
Mowed the weeds on the banks of Hamada Farm's 3 tan rice field. The intense heat caused the grass to grow thick. They plan to harvest the rice in early October. |

2025/10/01 16:59:45｜ その他栽培 | 9/8-10野菜畑の草刈りと耕作/Weeding and cultivating vegetable fields | | | | EFCで使用している畑が８月の猛暑で草ぼうぼうです。３日間かけて草刈りと耕うんをしてやっと秋野菜を植えることができる状態になりました。９月というのに猛暑が続いており、この作業は早朝の作業に徹しました。
The fields used by EFC are overgrown with weeds due to the intense heat of August. After three days of weeding and tilling, the fields are finally ready for planting autumn vegetables. Even though it is September, the intense heat continues, so this work was carried out early in the morning. |
