湘南自然薯栽培その３

浜田牧場さんの畑に買った苗を約300本定植しました。その後にサイロ詰めに使用した厚めのビニールシートでトンネルを張りました。
planted about 300 seedlings in Hamada Farm's field. After that, created a tunnel using the thick vinyl sheeting  used to fill silos.

自前での育苗した玉葱と買った苗の玉ねぎをEFCグループの畑に定植しました。左の畦が自前の苗です。不織布でトンネルを張りました。右の畦は勝った苗です。
Planted our own grown onion seedlings and purchased seedlings in the EFC Group's fields. The seedlings on the left are our own. We set up a tunnel using nonwoven fabric. The seedlings on the right are the winning seedlings.

12/5に予定されている玉葱の定植で利用する玉葱苗の生育状況です。今年は初めて玉ねぎを種から苗を育成してみました。昨年までは苗を購入。畑植えの苗と苗プランターの二種類を試しました。畑植えの苗は約６割が育ちましたが、128穴のプランターでは約２割です。
結局、外から半数の苗（約500株）を買って定植することにしました。
This is the growth status of the onion seedlings that will be used for planting on December 5th. This year, for the first time, Tried growing onion seedlings from seeds. Until last year, Purchased seedlings. Tried two types: field-planted seedlings and seedling planters. About 60% of the field-planted seedlings grew, but only about 20% of the seedlings in the 128-hole planters.
In the end, Decided to buy half the seedlings (about 500 plants) from outside and plant them.

11/23に実施したもみ殻の燻製を箱詰めしました。段ボール２箱以上あります。玉葱の定植他に利用します。
The rice husks smoked on November 23rd have been boxed up. There are more than two cardboard boxes. They will be used for planting onions and other purposes.

モロッコからのお客様を忍野八海と河口湖へご案内しました。３連休の最終日で高速道を中心に往復の道路の渋滞に会いました。特に帰りは東名高速が入り口から３時間の渋滞ということで２４６号線に迂回したのですがここも渋滞。結局、新松田駅でゲストを電車に乗せてお別れしました。
Took a guest from Morocco to Oshino Hakkai and Lake Kawaguchi. It was the last day of a three-day weekend, so we encountered heavy traffic on the way there and back, mainly on the expressways. On the way back, the Tomei Expressway was jammed for three hours from the entrance, so we took a detour onto Route 246, but there was also heavy traffic there. In the end, I put the guest on the train at Shin-Matsuda Station and said goodbye.
