湘南自然薯栽培その３

東京、横浜の留学生を二宮の吾妻山にご案内して満開の菜の花を満喫していただきました。富士山はあいにく見えませんでした。午後は、大磯の旧吉田邸を見学してもらいました。ここからは富士山が少しの間姿を見せてくれました。
We guided international students from Tokyo and Yokohama to Azumayama in Ninomiya. And enjoyed the canola flowers in full bloom. Unfortunately, we could not see Mt.Fuji. In the afternoon, visited the former residence  of Yoshida Shigeru in Oiso. From here, Mt.Fuji  could  be seen for a short time.

一昨年から近くで自然薯を栽培しているTさんに彼のお客様に配る自然薯を見せて頂きました。昨年は約300本の自然薯を栽培しています。が、大きいもので６０0ｇほどでまだまだ自然薯栽培に工夫（定植後の蔓葉の養生、追肥や除草など）が必要です。でも、自然薯の包装は立派です。
Mr. T, who has been cultivating Japanese yam nearby since the year before last, showed me the yam he is giving out to his customers. Last year,  he cultivated about 300 Japanese yams. However, a large one is about 600g, and it is still necessary to devise ways to cultivate yam (curing of vine leaves after planting, additional fertilization, weeding, etc.). But the packaging of wild yam is admirable.

昨年１２月にネット予約した平塚文化会館での立川志の輔独演会のチケットをやっと近くのコンビニで発券して手に入れることができました。初めての体験です。（当初はチケットが郵送で送られるものと思っていました。）
２月２５日の開催が楽しみです。
Could get tickets for Shinosuke Tatekawa's solo performance at the Hiratsuka art and cultual , which I booked online,last December, at a nearby convenience store. It's my first experience. (At first, I thought the tickets would be sent by mail.)
I am looking forward to the event on February 25th.

昨夜からの寒波で朝は富士山がきれいに見えました。今年最後のEFCを実施しました。秋ジャガ、大根、カブなどたくさん収穫しました。
Mt. Fuji looked beautiful in the morning due to the cold wave from last night.Had the last EFC of the year. Harvested a lot of autumn potatoes, radishes, turnips, and more.

近くのＹ農園の方から山わさびと葉わさびを頂きました。山わさびは１個を第三圃場に一角に定植しました。翌日に美味しく頂きました。
Got  two mountain wasabis and leaf wasabi from the nearby Y farm. Planted one mountain wasabi in one corner in the third field. Tasted them
very delicious next day.
