湘南自然薯栽培その３

３月に植えたジャガイモの現在の生育状況です。
今年は昨年より１か月早いFarm Visitを５月末に予定しています。
何とか間に合いそうです。
Current growth situation of the potatoes planted in March.
This year, we are planning a Farm Visit at the end of May, one month earlier than last year.
It looks like we'll make it in time.

都内の友人（昔の仕事仲間）を誘って、御殿場の手前の小山町の温泉施設である
あしがら温泉に行って来ました。入場料金600円でサウナぶろ付きの温泉が楽しめます。何といって露天風呂から富士山を眺められるのは最高の居心地です。
命の洗濯をしてきました。

Invited a friend (old colleague) from Tokyo to visit a hot spring facility in Oyama-cho, just before Gotemba.  Ashigara Onsen. can enjoy a hot spring with a sauna bath for an entrance fee of 600 yen. The view of Mt.Fuji from the open-air bath is the best comfort.
Enjoyed myself.

モロヘイヤの苗約200本を第三圃場のマルチの畦に定植しました。その後に不織布でトンネルを作りました。このトンネルでモロヘイヤの育ちが露地栽培に比べて２倍の速さで成長します。
About 200 moroheiya seedlings were planted in the mulch ridges of the third field. After that, made a tunnel with non-woven fabric. In this tunnel, moroheiya grows twice as fast as in outdoor cultivation.

自然薯栽培で一番きつい作業の一つである畦シートの布設が始まりました。第二圃場、第四圃場そして第一圃場の自然薯圃場の３９畦に約3,000個の畦シートを埋め込んで行きます。４月１８日から５月３日の約２週間で作業を完了しました。
Laying of ridge sheets, one of the most difficult tasks in Japanese yam cultivation, has begun. About 3,000 ridge sheets are embedded in the 39 ridges of the second, fourth and first fields. The work was completed in about two weeks from April 18th to May 3rd.

4月５日に播種したモロヘイヤは簡易ハウスの中で育苗中です。播種後1週間後に芽を出して約２週間でこの大きさになりました。手前の育苗箱の方が培養土がきめ細かく苗の芽出しとその後の育ちも良いようです。
Moroheiya, which was sown on April 5, is growing in a compact  greenhouse. A week after sowing, the seeds sprouted and reached this size in about two weeks. The nursery box in the front has finer potting soil and the seedlings sprout and grow well.
