湘南自然薯栽培その３

４年ぶりに湘南ひらつか七夕祭りに留学生はじめ多くの外国の方がたをご案内しました。１７か国６０名の方がたが参加してくれました。
For the first time in four years, guided many foreigners, including international students, to the Shonan Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival. 60 people from 17 countries participated.
 

久しぶりに友人のBさんの画廊展を拝見に有楽町の交通会館に出かけました。湘南ひらつか七夕祭りに参加のベトナムのTさんとも初対面の挨拶をしました。
After a long absence, went to Kotsu Kaikan in Yurakucho to see my friend B's gallery exhibition. Also greeted  T−san  from Vietnam who will  participate  the Shonan Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival.

EFC(English Farm Cafe)の仲間が栽培しているハーブの一種のベルガモットの花を冷蔵保存中です。自然薯の業務用冷蔵庫を使って温度３℃で保存中ですが、２週間以上維持できることが分かりました。７月９日の湘南ひらつか七夕祭りの
生け花のイベントに使用予定です
Refrigerating bergamot flowers, a kind of herb that is cultivated by EFC (English Farm Cafe) friends. Storing in a commercial refrigerator at a temperature of 3°C, and found that ithey can be maintained for more than two weeks. Shonan Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival on July 9th

３年ぶりに開催された里山ワークショップに参加しました。今回は草取り作業のグループに参加しました。２時間ほどの作業で汗だくになりました。
Participated in the Satoyama workshop held for the first time in three years. This time participated in a weeding group. Was drenched in sweat after two hours of work.

先週に定植して水遣りをしてサツマイモの畦ですが、その後の１週間でほとんど萎れてしまいました。そこで、新たな種蔓を仕入れて補植しました。
Last week, planted and watered the sweet potato ridges, but they almost withered in the next week. So bought a new seed vines and planted ithem.
