湘南自然薯栽培その３

やっと自然薯が収穫できるようになり、あさつゆ広場での販売を開始しました。
朝6時にお店に価格シールを貼った自然薯を並べて、夕方の17:00には売れ残りの自然薯を回収して冷蔵庫に保存します。これらの作業が水曜日（休み）を除き来年6月ころまで毎日続きます。
I am finally able to harvest the Japanese yams, and have started selling them at Asatsuyu Square(JA farmers market).
I line up the Japanese yams with price labels attached at 6am, and at 5pm in the evening collect the unsold  yams and store them in the refrigerator. I will continue this work every day until around June next year, except on Wednesdays (our day off).

初日は白糸の滝、朝霧牧場を経由して富士五湖を案内して箱根の宿に一泊して2日目は伊豆半島の堂ヶ島、河津七滝、城ケ崎海岸そして大室山を案内しました。
大変でしたが、喜んで貰えて良かったです。
On the first day, I took them to the Fuji Five Lakes, via Shiraito Falls and Asagiri Farm, and stayed overnight at a lodging in Hakone. On the second day, I took them to Dogashima Island on the Izu Peninsula, Kawazu Seven Waterfalls, Jogasaki Coast, and Mt. Omuroyama.
It was a lot of work, but I'm glad they enjoyed it.

浜田さんがトウモロコシ畑を耕うん中に運転を誤ってトラクターが横転したそうです。クボタの技術者に依頼して70馬力のトラクターで引き上げて貰いました。
本人に怪我がなくて良かったです。
While Hamada-san was plowing the corn field,he made a mistake while driving and the tractor overturned. He asked a Kubota technician to pull it out with a 70 horsepower tractor. It was good that he wasn't injured.
 

KSGGの年に1度の恒例行事『集い』が開催されました。講演として外国人落語家の三遊亭好青年さんのお話がありました。彼はスエーデン出身で三遊亭好楽門下の二段目の落語家で古典落語から英語落語まで幅広い落語を披露します。真打ももうすぐだと思います。
KSGG's annual event "Gathering" was held. There was a talk by foreign Rakugo performer Sanyutei Koseinen. He is from Sweden and is a second-rank Rakugo performer of the Sanyutei Koraku stable, and performs a wide range of Rakugo from classical Rakugo to English Rakugo. I think he will soon become a Shin'uchi.

毎年恒例の浜田牧場さんの稲の収穫が始まりました。総計9反ある田圃の稲を一日3反単位で収穫します。11:00-16:30までの作業です。私は刈り取った後の稲束を6束づつ立ててゆく作業を主に行います。これは乾燥後に牛の飼料として蓄えるものです。
The annual rice harvest at Hamada Dairy Farm has begun. The rice from the 9 tan rice fields is harvested in units of 3 tan per day. The work runs from 11:00 to 16:30. My main job is to stand the harvested rice bundles into bundles of 6. These will be stored as cattle feed after drying.
