湘南自然薯栽培その３

浜田牧場さんの今年最初の２反の田圃の田植えです。途中までは順調だったのですが、途中で故障しました。私が良く観察すると田植え機の後ろの苗移動部のベルトが破損していました。クボタに連絡してベルトの交換をすることになり、本日の田植えは中断しました。２日後に再開の予定です。
This is the first rice planting of the year at Hamada Farm in a 2-tan rice field. It was going well until halfway through, when it broke down. When I looked closely, I noticed that the belt for moving the seedlings behind the rice planter was broken. He contacted Kubota to replace the belt, and today's rice planting was suspended. It is scheduled to resume in two days.

グリーンカーテンを作製したいと思い、同郷のUさんにお願いしてイチョウ芋の種芋を送って貰いました。昨年度のイチョウ芋は猪の被害にあい収穫できなったそうです。友人に貰ったイチョウ芋を１０個送ってくれました。早速、畑とプランターに植えました。
Wanted to make a green curtain, so asked my home boy U-san to send me some ginkgo potato seeds. Last year's ginkgo potatoes were damaged by wild boars and could not be harvested. He sent me 10 ginkgo potatoes that he received from a friend.Immediately planted them in the field and in a planter.

今年はサツマイモの保存と育苗に成功しました。苗が大きくなったため畑の１畦に約70本のサツマイモの苗を移植しました。種類は安納芋、鳴門金時そして紫芋の３種類です。明日が雨なので夕方に急いて植えました。
This year, succeded in preserving and raising sweet potatoes. As the seedlings grew, transplanted about 70 sweet potato seedlings into one ridge of the field. There are three kinds of sweet potato: Annou potato, Naruto Kintoki, and purple potato. Since it is going to rain tomorrow,  hurried to plant them in the evening.

雨が心配されましたが、昼間には曇りとなり無事にイベントを実施することができました。浜田牧場さんで新鮮な牛乳を飲んでから若牛に給餌体験をして頂きました。その後、ジャガイモ畑に移動しておもてなしチームが用意してくれたジャガイモのスープ、ケーキ、デザートなどをいただきながらランチを楽しんで頂きました。最後に、多くのジャガイモを掘って持ち帰って頂きました。
Although worried about rain, the weather cleared up during the day and we were able to hold the event without any problems. After drinking fresh milk at Hamada Farm, the guests had the opportunity to feed young cows. After that, they moved to a potato field and enjoyed a lunch of potato soup, cake, dessert, and other dishes prepared by the hospitality team. Finally, they dug up many potatoes to take home.

第四圃場脇で育苗していた種薯の中で既に蔓が伸びていた物を１畦分移植しました。そしてネット張りまで実施しました。
Among the Japanese yam seedlings that were growing beside the fourth field, transplanted one row of seed yams that already had vines. Also put up nets.
