湘南自然薯栽培その３

浜田牧場さんのジェラート工房の上棟式が夕方行われ参加しました。完成は6月中旬そして6月27日オープンの予定です。イタリアンジェラートの製造販売は国の第六次産業化の認定を受けたものです。ホームページは一足先にアップされました。

The topping out ceremony of Hamada dairy farm's gelato workshop was held in the evening and participated. Completion is scheduled for mid-June and opene on June 27th. The manufacture and sale of Italian gelato has been certified as the sixth industrialization of the country. The homepage has been uploaded earlier than the workshop opening.

昨日作成したカット薯を育苗箱に並べて山砂を被せました。第四圃場脇の日当たりの良い場所で育苗します。35箱（約900本）の種薯を仕込みました。累計温度500℃で発芽します。五月初め頃の予定です。
The cut yam seeds made yesterday were lined up in a nursery box and covered with mountain sand. Raise seedlings in a sunny place beside the 4th field. Prepared 35 boxes (about 900) of seed yams.They germinates at a cumulative temperature of 500 ° C. It is scheduled for early May.

昨日北茨城のS農産から種薯(60kg)が届きました。今年Tさんがこの種薯で栽培することになり実習を兼ねてカット薯作りを実施してもらいました（約100個）。まず、薯を60gの単位でカットします。その後に消毒します。切り口に消石灰をまぶします。そして日干しします。この作業は晴天の日を選んで実施します。
午後からは残り900個のカット薯を作成しました。
Yesterday, seed yams(of 60kg) arrived from S Agricultural Products in Kitaibaraki.  Mr. T who  will cultivate this seed yam came to make cut yams for practical training (about 100). First, cut the yam in units of 60g. Then disinfect. Sprinkle slaked lime on the cut end. Then dry it in the sun. This work is carried out on a sunny day.
From the afternoon, I made the remaining 900 cut yams.

昨年から別の種薯で自然薯を栽培しているTから紹介いただいた処からキメの細かい山砂を仕入れることができました。Tさんが2トンのトラックで運搬してくれました。トータル1㎥の山砂を第一圃場と第二圃場の砂場に山積みしました。後日、種薯の育苗と栽培パイプに埋める予定です。
Procured fine-grained sands from the place introduced by Mr T, who has been cultivating Japanese yams with different seeds since last year. Mr. T carried them by a 2 ton truck. A total of 1 m3 of mountain sands were piled up in the sandboxes of the first and second fields. I plan to bury the seedlings in the seedling raising and puttin into cultivation pipes.

昨年高収穫の第四圃場も石灰を散布してトラクターによる耕作を実施しました。この圃場はまだ土壌分析が出来ていません。1週間後に土壌分析をお願いする予定です。
Splayed lime and culitivated the fourth field where high output of yams were attaind last year. Soil analysis has not yet been completed in this field. So I will ask for soil analysis a week later.
