湘南自然薯栽培その３

母校野球部先輩のAさんが二年生の時に投稿した詩がサトウハチローの『生活の唄』に収録されて朝日新聞社から昭和４１年に出版されました。先輩がこの本を紛失して半世紀以上が経ちました。このほど、ネット『古本屋』でやっと探して手に入れました。そして先輩に謹呈致しました。とても喜んで頂きました。
The poem posted by A-san, a senior at our alma mater baseball club, when he was in the second grade, was recorded on the of Satou hachiro and published by Asahi Shimbun in 1966. It has been more than half a century since my senior lost this book. Recently, I finally searched for it on the internet "secondhand bookstore" and got it. And I presented it to my seniors. He became very pleased.

長引く雨のため遅れてしまいましたが、自然薯圃場の追肥を実施しました。化成肥料8-8-8を50g/本あたりの施肥です。合計100kgの肥料を散布しました。
Although it was delayed due to the prolonged rain, added fertilizer to the Japanese yam field. Chemical fertilizer 8-8-8 is applied per 50g / piece. A total of 100 kg of fertilizer was decipated.

今年も母校の野球部ob会で集めた寄付を地元のFさん他有志が母校を訪問して寄付を監督に手渡ししてくれました。一回戦は８日行われます。頑張って欲しいと思います。
This year too,  F-san and other members living in Oita visited former school and handed the donations to the manager. The first round will be held on the 8th. Want them do their best.

昨夜からの雨と北風で一部のソルゴーが倒伏しました。このソルゴーは今後の台風に備えて自然薯圃場の防風の為に植えたものです。しっかりと根を張らずに育ちだかりのソルゴーにとって4-5m/秒の北風に耐えられなかったようです。別の農家の隣の畑のソルゴー（緑化肥料にするために植えたもの）も大半が倒伏していました。
Some sorghum fell down due to the rain and north wind from last night. This sorghum was planted to prevent wind in the Japanese yam field in preparation for future typhoons. It seems that the sorghum, which had grown up without rooting firmly, could not withstand the north wind of 4-5 m / sec. Most of the sorghum (planted for greening fertilizer) in the field next to another farmer also fell down.

7月初めの出荷を予定していましたが、予想外に成長が早く第三圃場のモロヘイヤを収穫しました。100gのモロヘイヤの束を袋に入れます。この袋が72個になりました。早速70袋を秦野の市場に出荷しました。２袋は業務用冷蔵庫に温度18度で保存しました。
Though planed to ship it in early July, but it grew unexpectedly fast.So,harvested Moroheiya from the third field. Put a bunch of 100g Moroheiyas of 100g in wieght into a vinyl bag. Harvested 72 bags.  Immediately shipped 70 bags to the Hadano market. Two bags were stored in a commercial refrigerator at a temperature of 18 degrees.
