湘南自然薯栽培その３

プランター栽培している稲作で２つのポットの稲に穂が出てきました。今後の成長が楽しみです。猛暑の日は午前と午後の２回潅水します。

Ears appeared in two pots of rice grown in  planters. look forward to future growth. Irrigate twice in the morning and afternoon on hot days.

留学生のＨさんとＮさんを箱根に案内しました。箱根関所、海賊船、ロープウェイ、大涌谷そしてガラスの森美術館を巡って楽しんでいただきました。晴れ間が覗いて富士山がよく見えました。EFC仲間のOさんも車付きで同道してくれました。
Guided international students H-san and N-san to Hakone. They enjoyed visiting Hakone Sekisho, Pirate Ship, Ropeway, Owakudani and Glass Forest Museum. Could see Mt. Fuji well through the clear sky. O-san, an EFC friend, also accompanied us with a car.

EFCの仲間と栽培している野菜の中で、かぼちゃ、オクラ、そして枝豆をたくさん収穫することができました。Oさんは都内に住む子供さんたちに宅急便で一部をお送りしたようです。
Among the vegetables grown with EFC friends,we had harvest a lot of squasshes,okras and green soybeans. O-san seems to have sent a part by courier to the children living in Tokyo.

 第三圃場と第四圃場の斜面の草刈りを実施しました。

Mowed the slopes of the third and forth field.

久しぶりに第二圃場の畦間と周辺の草刈を実施しました。

For the first time in a long time, mowed the ridges and surrounding areas of the second field.
