KSGGのイベントの１つである大磯早春Walkにスタッフの１人として参加しました。大磯駅前で１４名の海外留学生を待ち合わせてから明治中央公園と旧吉田邸を巡って城山公園を案内しました。公園の頂上からは富士山が良く見えました。城山庵では抹茶を体験して頂きました。
Participated as one of the staff in the Oiso Early Spring Walk, one of the KSGG events. After meeting 14 international students in front of Oiso Station, we guided them around Meiji Central Park and the former Yoshida residence, and then Joyama Park. From the top of the park, We could get a good view of Mt. Fuji. At Joyama-an, we had them try matcha tea.

Hさんに誘われて県内の関係者が集うJAフェアに参加しました。草取りロボが展示されていました。143,000円で売っていました。一寸手が出せません。
I was invited by Mr. H to attend the JA Fair, where people from around the prefecture gather. There was a weeding robot on display. It costs over 100000yen. It's out of my reach.
 

2/4と2/6の両日に２か所の圃場のジャガイモ畑を22馬力トラクターで耕うんしました。第四圃場は５月末に計画しているファームビジット時のジャガイモ堀りのイベントで使用予定です。
On February 4th and 6th, used a 22 horsepower tractor to till two potato fields. The fourth field will be used for a potato digging event during the farm visit planned for the end of May.

庭の花畑を耕作して野菜畑にすることにしました。コンポストの有機肥料を散布して鍬で耕してから2週間後にキャベツとブロッコリーの苗を植えました。
そして寒冷紗のトンネルを布設しました。また、小型のコンポストを買い求め、今後は生ごみを2つのコンポストを交互に使って効果的に有機肥料を作って行きたいと思います。
I decided to cultivate the flower garden in my garden and turn it into a vegetable patch. I planted cabbage and broccoli seedlings two weeks after spreading organic compost fertilizer and plowing with a hoe.
I then laid a cheesecloth tunnel. I also bought a small compost pile and will be using two compost piles alternately to effectively create organic fertilizer from food waste.
