湘南自然薯栽培その３

モロヘイヤがやっと50cmほどの高さに成長しました。７月からの収穫が楽しめそうです。
Moroheiya has finally grown to a height of about 50 cm. Can enjoy the harvest from July.

6月７日に田植えを完了した浜田牧場さんから余った早苗を頂きました。ネットのバケツ栽培からヒントを得てプランターでの水耕栽培を始めてみました。発泡スチロールの箱でも試してみます。
Received the surplus seedlings from Mr. Hamada deiry-farm, who completed rice planting on June 7. Taking inspiration from net bucket cultivation, Started hydroponics of rice in a planter. Also tried it in a Styrofoam box.

外国のお客様を二宮の隠れ家：風合い工房にご案内しました。
ショールとハンカチを藍染して貰いました。繭になる前の蚕の様子を見学してもらい、保存済の繭から糸繰りも体験して貰いました。最後にMさん自身の設計の機織り機（レラ・オ・レラ--アイヌ語で風と共に）の実演を見せて貰いました。
雨のため、田植え（古代米）は中止になりました。雨のため屋内の体験になりましたが皆さんに楽しんでいただきました

Finally, M-san showed a demonstration of a weaving machine designed by herself (Rela_o_Rela (Wind and Feel the air in Ainu language)).Due to rain, rice planting (ancient rice) was cancelled. It was an indoor activities, but everyone all guest enjoyed them.

暖かくなり自然薯の蔓葉が伸びてきました。長い蔓はネット上部まで伸びてきました。また昨日の雨で地上から芽を出した薯も多くなりました。昨年より成長が早いと思われます。
Recent warmer weather has made vines of the Japanese yam grew. The long vines have extended to the top of the net. In addition, many seedling yams sprouted from the ground due to the rain yesterday. they seem to grow faster than last year.

暖かくなりやっとモロヘイヤの成長が加速するようになりました。今年は半月早く７月初めには収穫と出荷が出来そうです。
