湘南自然薯栽培その３

4月５日に播種したモロヘイヤは簡易ハウスの中で育苗中です。播種後1週間後に芽を出して約２週間でこの大きさになりました。手前の育苗箱の方が培養土がきめ細かく苗の芽出しとその後の育ちも良いようです。
Moroheiya, which was sown on April 5, is growing in a compact  greenhouse. A week after sowing, the seeds sprouted and reached this size in about two weeks. The nursery box in the front has finer potting soil and the seedlings sprout and grow well.

５月末のFarm visitで利用するジャガイモ畑の育成状況はまあまあです。右の２つの畦のジャガイモを掘って貰う予定です。左の畦のジャガイモも少しづつ芽が出て大きくなってきました。
The growing situation of the potato field used for the farm visit at the end of May is so so. Plan to have the potatoes on the two ridges on the right dug. The potatoes on the left ridge are also sprouting little by little and getting bigger.

９日から１３日にかけて第三圃場、第四圃場、第五圃場の合計１６畦にマルチ布設を実施しました。定植は５月以降ですが、防草の為に早くマルチ化することにしました。
From the 9th to the 13th, mulching was laid on a total of 16 ridges in the 3rd, 4th and 5th fields. Planting is after May, but decided to mulch early to prevent weeds.

昨年より１週間ほど遅くなりましたが、モロヘイヤの種蒔きを実施しました。128苗の育苗箱４つに植えました。１つの穴に数粒の小さな種を埋めます。
Although it was about a week later than last year, sowed Moroheiya seeds. Planted in 4 nursery boxes with 128 seedlings.Fill each hole with a few small seeds.

厳寒の冬を生き延びたサツマイモ（自宅の暖房ルーム隅にて保存）を発泡スチロール箱に種類ごとに芽出しの仕込みを実施しました。無事に芽が出て欲しいと思います。
Sweet potatoes that survived the cold winter (stored in the corner of the heating room at home) were placed in Styrofoam boxes for each type of sprout. Look forward to see their sprout.
