湘南自然薯栽培その３

2週間前に植えたサツマイモがすっかり活着しました。これから蔓葉を伸ばし始めます。
The sweet potatoes I planted two weeks ago have taken root. It will start growing foliage.

定植後約2か月後の第一圃場の自然薯の外観です。蔓と葉が茂り始めています。
This is the appearance of wild yam in the first field about two months after planting. Vines and leaves are beginning to grow.

先日駄目になったサツマイモ畑に新しい苗を約200本定植しました。その後は比較的涼しい気候に恵まれながら毎日夕方の潅水を続けてやっと根付いた気がします。（13日から4日間続いた雨ですっかり活着しました。）
About 200 new seedlings were planted in the sweet potato field that was ruined the other day. After that, they seem to be taken root by continuing to irrigate in the evening every day while being blessed with a relatively cool climate. (The rains  for 4 days in rows that has continued since the 13th has taken deeply rooted.)
 

暑さを避けて08:00-10:00にEFCを実施しました。主な作業はサツマイモ畑の草取りです。5人で1時間で草取りが完了しました。喫茶は近くの木陰で実施しました。
EFC was held from 08: 00-10: 00 to avoid the heat. The main work is weeding the sweet potato fields. Weeding was completed in 1 hour with 5 people. The English cafe was held in the shade of a nearby tree.

先月28日に植えたサツマイモの苗240本ですが、その後、毎日夕方に約50Lの潅水をするのですが、毎日の灼熱の暑さにやられて大部分が枯れてしまいました。新しい苗の定植が必要です。
Planted 240 sweet potato seedlings on the 28th of last month.But most of them died due to the scorching heat in these days even though the irrigation of 50L every evening. New seedlings need to be planted.
