Hello People!

Hello everyone! Another week has gone by and things have been busy. I apologize for not making a blog entry for a few days. It has been a combination of being busy and slight forgetfulness.

The weather has been a bit strange the last couple of days, no? Last night there was a sudden lightning-storm which lasted for about two hours. The high frequency of the lightning was very surprising. Then today it was raining very hard and sunny at the same time. A rare event!

I had another good week of Funglish classes and as always enjoyed talking with all the students. I enjoy some chatting time with the lessons and I hope everyone enjoys it too! It’s a great way to practice natural, daily English.

Tomorrow I will try to finally finish off the flier campaign, and I hope the weather cooperates with me. I hope you all have a good night and a great weekend!

Funglish Campaign
Hello, how is your weekend?

Today is another beautiful Sunday outside and the Funglish ad campaign has resumed. I was posting around Yuhigaoka and the Minato Elementary School and enjoying the fine weather. There are now only about 1000 fliers left before I complete round 2 of the posting campaign!

I’ve seen many of these flowers everywhere I go. I’m not sure what they’re called but they look really nice. Does anyone know the name of these flowers?

I hope everyone had a nice day today and a good weekend. What do you usually do on a Sunday? Do you relax at home or do you go somewhere?

Saturday Maintenance

Hi, how’s it going today?

I didn’t do any posting but I will be sure to do a lot of that tomorrow. It was a little bit cool today but still nice outside, except for the quick shower in the early afternoon.

It was a maintenance day today. I was busy at home doing some paperwork, practicing kanji, cleaning up my apartment, doing laundry and cooking. My office corner at my place had become a bit cluttered so I had to reorganize it and get rid of some papers that had no purpose except to make everything look messy. So I’m glad that’s all done!

Tonight’s dinner (made by me) was rice, miso soup with green onion (negi), corn, shredded cabbage, and chicken nanban with green peppers (p-man). I think it turned out pretty well and it tasted very good. I hope you all had a good day and a good dinner too!

Another Friday
Hello people of Hiratsuka!

Today was another good day. The weather was nice and I’m so glad it didn’t rain. I taught children’s classes today at Bois Colombes (ボア•コロンブ) and everything went well. Today’s lessons were about school items and phrases, and the kids did very well.

The classroom is behind the main school. It’s a good size room that is on the ground floor of the owner’s house and it was built to be used as a classroom. There is a lot of room to have fun activities for kid’s classes so it works quite well.

It seems like it will be a very nice night tonight and I’d like to go out somewhere. But where should I go?

Well that’s all for today, thanks as always for reading. Have a great night and weekend!

Thursday Thunderstorm
Good evening! I hope everyone is doing well.

Today’s posting campaign was setback because of the crazy thunderstorm that came through the area. The power also went out in my home for a few seconds and I heard the same thing happened all over town. Maybe the lightning struck something in Hiratsuka! It was very strange because the lights and T.V. went out but my computer was still working fine.

I did have regular classes at Mishima again tonight and had a good time with all the students again. The Funglish classes are held in classroom E, which is a small room beside the apartment building. Thanks to all the students for another good week of classes, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

Tomorrow I will be going to Bois Colombes for classes and I hope it doesn’t rain again. I usually take my bicycle to get there and it takes about 25-30 minutes. If it’s raining hard it might be a bit uncomfortable!

Thanks for reading, and take care. I hope you have a good night and a good Friday morning too.
