| Hello and good evening!
Today was a super-hot Sunday. I was hiding indoors most of the day, but went out in the afternoon to teach some lessons.
After the last lesson tonight I went to Yururi Izakaiya in downtown Hiratsuka with a couple of students. I had seen this place before and thought it looked good but never had the chance to go inside. Tonight was the night to try it out! It was also a nice time for me as I haven’t been ‘out’ at night for quite a while.
The interior design is very cool in my opinion. I liked the ambience a lot. The food and drink was very good, and so was the service. It’s a good place to go and chat with people!
We had some fried garlic potato wedges, some maguro-avocado spring rolls, grilled ginger chicken, shirasu-nori pizza and a sashimi platter with katsuo, maguro, aji and one more type of fish. (I can’t remember the Japanese name for it.) All of it was very good!
Next week should be a busy time again. I look forward as always to seeing the students and chatting with them. I hope you all have a great week!
Thanks for reading and take care. -Paul
