I enojyed Japanese green tea at a traditional Japanese tea room in Tokyo. The tea room is a branch store of an old tea stall in Kyoto. They serve fine green tea from Uji and other Kyoto area with some sweets. The sweets are also brought from Kyoto. One of these sweets is my favourite patissier’s.
They kindly explain their customers how to serve tea, the caractor of the tea and sweets.
I chose an Organic green tea from Uji. Uji is one of the most famous green tea plantation area. The tea’s arom from the tea cup just after drinking off is very nice and sweet. It makes me very confortable and relaxed.
When I visit there alone, I usually take the seat in front of the iron tea kettle. The kettle is a kind of special for tea ceremony.
They also serve cold green tea like icy smoothy one in summer, it is also delicious!
