Good afternoon. It’s a scorcher isn’t it?

I went to sleep last night with many ideas about what to do today. However, when I awoke I found those ideas replaced by laziness. So I haven’t done much yet. Sometimes that happens on Sunday when I have a day off.

There is a great bakery in the Shimamura grocery store by my place. I decided to go there for lunch today. I haven’t been there for a long time so I used this as an excuse to return (and like I said I’m a bit lazy today). So today’s lunch is (from left to right) curry-pan, a roasted chicken sandwich and a sweet apple pastry. If you haven’t been to this bakery you really should. The bread there is delicious!

Now that the afternoon is here I feel like I should go out somewhere, but what to do? It’s also really hot and humid. I feel like a slug after an hour or so in the sun. What do you do in Hiratsuka on a sunny Sunday? I think a location with AC (air conditioning) is required.
