湘南自然薯栽培その３

3日間かけてネトフリ映画：不毛地帯を39時間以上かけて視聴しました。
これはフジテレビで放映された唐沢寿明主演の戦争、捕虜体験を得て戦後に商社に就職して航空機の販売合戦、中東の油田開発他の活躍で副会長まで出世しながら、最後は潔く身を引き荒野に眠る同僚の復縁に身をささげる壮大なドラマです。感激しました。私は山崎豊子の作品が大好きです。
Spent three days watching the Netflix movie "The Barren Land," which took more than 30 hours.This is an epic drama starring Toshiaki Karasawa, originally broadcast on Fuji TV. It tells the story of a man who, after the war, experiences war and prisoner-of-war, joins a trading company, rises to the position of vice-chairman through his success in aircraft sales and Middle Eastern oil field development, and ultimately steps aside to dedicate himself to the reunion of a colleague buried in the wilderness. I was deeply moved. I love Toyoko Yamazaki's works.

WBC独占放映のネトフリを視聴するために１か月の視聴契約をしました。観たかったゴッドファーザーのシリーズ３部作品をすべて視聴出来ました。昨日から計９時間をかけて視聴しました。第二次大戦前にイタリヤのシチチー島から移住した主人公がマフィアの頂点に立ち、3男の後継者が亡くなるまでの壮大な物語に感動しました。
Signed up for a one-month Netflix subscription to watch the WBC, which is their exclusive broadcast. Could watch all three films in the Godfather series, which I had wanted to see. spent a total of nine hours watching them since yesterday. Was deeply moved by the epic story of the protagonist, who emigrated from Sicichi Island in Italy before World War II, rising to the top of the mafia, and the death of his third son who was his successor.

今年のサツマイモの種芋から育苗する為の苗床を造りました。種芋の種類は鳴門金時、安納芋、紫芋、紅あずま、栗まさり、シルクスイートの６種類です。約５０個ほどあります。１個当たり１０本以上の蔓が生えてきますので、全体で500本以上の蔓苗が採れると思います。
Prepared a seedbed for growing seedlings from this year's sweet potato seed potatoes. The seed potatoes are of six varieties: Naruto Kintoki, Annou Imo, Murasaki Imo, Beni Azuma, Kuri Masari, and Silk Sweet. There are about 50 of them. Each potato will produce more than 10 vines, so I think I'll be able to harvest more than 500 vine seedlings in total.

EFCの仲間とジャガイモの定植を実施しました。第三圃場と３畦と第四圃場の３畦に合計４００個のジャガイモの種芋を植えました。翌日、カラスが約４０個の種芋穿り返されましたので、再度埋め込みしました。第四圃場のジャガイモは５月末のファームビジットでジャガイモ堀りのイベントに使用予定です。
Planted potatoes with my EFC colleagues. We planted a total of 400 seed potatoes in three rows in the third, third, and fourth fields. The next day, crows dug up about 40 of the seed potatoes, replanted them. The potatoes from the fourth field are planned to be used for a potato digging event during the farm visit at the end of May.

KSGGの友人と藤沢文化会館で開催された中大OB藤沢支部の落語寄席を鑑賞しました。
車で湘南道路を片瀬江ノ島の交差点を左折して約５�q先に文化会館はありました。４名のプロの落語家の口演がありました。彼らは皆中大出身です。KSGGの２年前の集いに講演頂いた三遊亭好青年（スエーデン出身）の落語も堪能しました。
Went to see a rakugo (traditional Japanese comic storytelling) performance by the Fujisawa branch of Chuo University alumni, held at the Fujisawa Cultural Hall, with  friends from KSGG.
The Cultural Hall was about 5 km away after turning left at the Katase-Enoshima intersection on the Shonan Road. Four professional rakugo performers gave performances. They were all graduates of Chuo University. Also enjoyed a rakugo performance by Sanyutei Koseinen (from Sweden), who gave a lecture at a KSGG gathering two years ago.
